The art of engraving

Born 1955 in Gotenburg Sweden 

Raised in an artist community. My mother Ulla Mörck was a textile artist and illustrator, and my father  Niels henry Mörck  was a graphic artist  and  philatelist . 

I was from an early age  inspired by my mother and her mantra was ” you will never get bored as long  as you have a piece of paper and pen nearby.”

From my  father Niels-Henry Mörck I was told to study the old masters like Master E.S and  Hendrick Goltzius. He was also a passionated philatelist and pointed out the connection between the old masters and  the art of engraved stamps. 

This given, I started to engrave at around age 12.

My destiny was settled there.
